Infolink is an information resource created by CVI to promote services, seminars, events, products and organizations that may be of interest to the visually impaired community and their families.

There are two ways to receive Infolink.

The Center has created these guidelines to ensure that announcements are submitted in an efficient way, to ensure the best distribution of this valuable resource to the blind and visually impaired community. If you are interested in submitting an announcement to have posted on Infolink, please follow the guidelines below:

How to submit an announcement to Infolink:

  • The deadline for all announcements is by 5 pm on Friday before the Thursday publication date. Publication is the first and third Thursdays of each month. There will be no Infolink on the fifth week of the month, when applicable.
  • Submissions received after Friday may be held until the next issue if timely. Otherwise, we will not be able to include late submissions.
  • All announcements must be submitted via email to infolink@cviga.org as a Microsoft Word document. Please include the topic in the subject line, and the date, time, location, and contact information in your submission.
  • All announcements must be no more than 200 words.
  • Posts will run for two consecutive issues, or one month.
  • CVI reserves the right to edit the content for length and grammatical corrections.
  • Announcements regarding the selling of products will not be permitted.
