Night Visions 2025 is just two months away! From our wonderful honorees to the live auction, to getting to see old friends, Night Visions promises to be an exciting evening in support of a worthy cause.
Night Visions: Visions of Hope will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 6:00pm at the Atlanta History Center. We welcome you to meet our fabulous honorees below.
The CVI Honors Award will be given to Andy Kauss, Former CVI Board Chair and Foundation Trustee. Andy is a Senior Counsel at Kilpatrick, Townsend, & Stockton. “During Andy’s tenure as Board Chair, he led with a sense of humor, humility, and a commitment to lead the way to a new future,” Mary Ann Cook, CVI Foundation Board Chair, shared. “Andy always set the highest standards for himself and those around him,” she went on. “I have the highest respect for him as a leader and as a friend. When faced with new challenges at CVI, Andy is the first person I call.”
Dr. Dimple Modi will receive the Helping Hand Award. Dr. Modi is a Medical Retina Specialist at the Harbin Clinic Eye Center in Rome and CarlinVision in Snellville. She has significantly expanded our reach, connecting us with patients in Floyd and Gwinnett Counties to ensure they have access to our low vision services. CVI’s Marketing Director, Jessica Poggi, shared, “Dr. Modi exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated healthcare professional through her warm personality and commitment to care for her patients. We are thrilled to honor her with the Helping Hand Award!”
The Sarah Woolf CVI Spirit Award will be presented to Gia Pergolini, a 2x Paralympian Gold Medalist and Silver Medalist at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Paralympian Games. “Gia exemplifies grace and dignity, not only on the Paralympic stage, but in all she does,” shared Bob Pennington, CVI Board Chair. “She’s a role model for people across the world.” Bob continued, “We are honored to present Gia with this year’s Sarah Woolf CVI Spirit Award in recognition of her courageous spirit and determination in the face of her challenges.”
