Meet our CVI team! We’re thrilled to welcome three exceptional professionals joining our mission to empower people impacted by vision loss to live with independence and dignity!

The Center is thrilled to have several new staff members join our service team, led by Shelby Pape, CVI’s Director of Programs.

Izzie Atkinson has joined CVI’s ranks as our newest occupational therapist.  She is experienced working with pediatric clients in school, clinic, and daycare settings, along with a strong background in acute care rehabilitation and hand therapy. With a special interest in assistive technology, environmental modifications, and helping individuals maximize their independence, she is an excellent fit for the work we do at CVI.

Julie Demenkow joined our program staff as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, assisting our clients in learning new skills and achieving their goals. She brings experience supporting adults across a variety of settings and has a strong interest in low vision and helping clients re-learn skills through functional, meaningful activities.

Sheena Xayaseng has more than five years of occupational therapy assistant experience across skilled nursing, home health, outpatient hand therapy, and neurorehabilitation. She is passionate about helping individuals retain independence through compassionate, patient-centered care and is excited to expand her expertise in low vision rehabilitation.

We are proud to have their experience and professionalism at CVI!
