The recent Night Visions event, hosted by the Center for the Visually Impaired (CVI), was a spectacular success and truly the best one yet! Held at the magnificent Atlanta History Center on March 20th, the evening brought together over 250 passionate supporters, all united by a common cause: transforming the lives of those facing vision loss within our community.
Center for the Visually Impaired President Lisa Kennedy summed up the spirit of the evening perfectly and said “We are beyond grateful for the generosity of CVI’s friends and benefactors. With their support, Night Visions raised nearly $450,000 for low vision care and rehabilitation. We were thrilled to recognize three honorees who have been central to our mission: Dr. Dimple Modi, an ophthalmologist with Harbin Clinic and CarlinVision; Andy Kauss, Senior Counsel at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton and former CVI Board Chair; and Gia Pergolini, a CVI alumna and record-breaking Paralympic Gold Medalist. We can’t wait for next year’s event on April 16, 2026!”
The Night Visions 2025 honorees embody the heart CVI’s mission to empower people impacted by vision loss to live with independence and dignity. During the CVI Honors Award acceptance speech Andy Kauss said, “There is an overwhelming need for the training, services and support that CVI provides.” All speeches resonated deeply, illustrating the profound difference that caring and committed individuals can make to people and families dealing with the challenges of vision loss. The guests were all inspired by the testimonials from CVI clients, whose lives have been changed thanks to the support and services at CVI.
Mark your calendars—next year’s Night Visions promises to be just as outstanding! Join us on April 16, 2026, as we gather once more to celebrate the progress and hope that CVI brings to so many lives.
